The barramundi lives in rivers, creeks & mangrove swamps - spawns in estuaries and coastal waters, sometimes travel well inland along rivers & canals

It should be handled with care when caught because the edges of its gill-covers are very sharp!

Lure fishing is an effective techniques. Tackle to be applied - use a 9 to 10 ft (2.7 to 3 m) spinning rod with 20 to 30 lb (9.1 to 13.g kg) mono line

Barramundi can be found in Asian coastal regions, islands from Persian Gulf to China & around the northern half of the Australian coast

It feeds on fish, crayfish, crabs, shrimps & insects. Does grow a weight of 132 lb (60 kg) or more!
