0900 hrs anglers assembled at marina awana labuan, flagged off at 1100 hrs.. feeell ittt! yeahhhoooo!!!

off to kuraman island for boat & head count.. then sail on to layang layang island



with 8 - 10 knots to layang layang island, 16 hours expedition was fun for anglers to share views & experience as well as preparing for the big game!

sea maiden boat - naz & du1 (brunei offshore fishing), martin wiles (united kingdom), from malaysia were leong yew wai (kuala lumpur), johari (rod & line magazine), hamdan (labuan marine department), 2 medical officers (ministry of health) & chief marshal, major johari (royal malaysian navy)

dive master boat from thailand was used by the igfa organizer (labuan watersports association) & vips anglers

0430 hrs arrived at the destination & too early to enter the lagoon. instruction to go in was at 05.30 hrs by the commanding officer of the royal malaysian navy (layang layang island base)... hence, to respect the scenario, everbody was having something to eat & refreshing themselves.. brrr


wow! 2 boats from brunei darussalam dream charter & apollo were along with us too!
dream charter was utilized by a couple from germany, apollo was contracted by anglers from johor, malaysia

good news! all boats & anglers were given authorization & clearance to leave layang layang island and to travel around & fish at spratly zone .. yaehooooo!!! feel it! a dream come true!
