our Earth is not a perfect sphere, the trench is not the part of the seafloor closest to the center of the universe - parts of the Arctic Ocean seabed are at least 13,000 meters closer to the center than the Challenger Deep seafloor

At the bottom of the trench, where the plates meet, the water column above exerts a pressure of 108.6 megapascals (15,750 psi), over one thousand times the standard atmospheric pressure at sea level. If Mount Everest, the highest mountain on Earth at 8,848 meters (29,029 ft), were set in the deepest part of the Mariana Trench, there would be 2,076 meters (6,811 ft) of water left above it

red & blue
The Mariana Trench is located in the Pacific Ocean, just east of the 14 Mariana Islands (11″21′ North latitude and 142″ 12′ East longitude ) near Japan. As you probably already know, it is the deepest part of the earth’s oceans, and the deepest location of the earth itself. It was created by ocean-to-ocean subduction, a phenomena in which a plate topped by oceanic crust is subducted beneath another plate topped by oceanic crust
