Narrated Aisha: Allah's Apostle said, "If somebody innovates something which is not in harmony with the principles of our religion (Islam), that thing is rejected." (Related by Bukhari)



Narrated Abu Musa: Some people asked Allah Apostle "Whose Islam is the best? (Who is a very good Muslim)?" Rasulullah SAW replied, "One who avoids harming the Muslims with his tongue and hands." (RB al Bukhari)

Narrated Ibn Masud: I heard the Prophet SAW saying, "There is no envy except in two: a person whom Allah has given wealth and he spends it in the right way, and a person whom Allah has given wisdom (i.e. religious knowledge) and he gives his decisions accordingly and teaches it to the others" (RB Bukhari)


Narrated Ibn 'Umar: Allah's Apostle said: Islam is based on five pillars (principles):

1. To testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah and Muhammad is Allah's Apostle

2. To offer the (compulsory congregational) prayers dutifully and perfectly

3. To pay Zakat (obligatory charity)

4. To observe fast during the month of Ramadan

5. To perform Hajj (Pilgrimage to Mecca)

Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri: Allah's Apostle said, "Whenever you hear the Adhan, say what the Mu'adhdhin is saying" (RB Bukhari)


It has been narrated on the authority of 'Abdullah that the Rasulullah SAW said: "The Caliphate will remain among the Quraish even if only two persons are left on the earth" (RB muslim)

Narrated Um 'Atiya: We were ordered to bring out our menstruating women and veiled women in the religious gatherings and invocation of Muslims on the two 'Id festivals. These menstruating women were to keep away from their Musalla. A woman asked, "O Allah's Apostle ' What about one who does not have a veil?" He said, "Let her share the veil of her companion." (RB al Bukhari)


Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Amr: A person asked Allah's Apostle . "What (sort of) deeds in or (what qualities of) Islam are good?" Rasulullah SAW replied, "To feed (the poor) and greet those whom you know and those whom you don't know."(RB al Bukhari)



Narrated Ibn Mas'ud: The Prophet SAW used to take care of us in preaching by selecting a suitable time, so that we might not get bored. (He abstained from pestering us with sermons and knowledge all the time). (RB al Bukhari)



Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, "When Allah completed the creation, He wrote in His Book which is with Him on His Throne, "My Mercy overpowers My Anger"(RB Bukhari)
